HOLY SMOKES!!! As an exhibitor, I can tell you that they are very strict about coming around and checking to see that ALL firearms have the firing pin removed. I'm supershocked that this happened. We didn't leave until late yesterday, but I'd heard nothing. I'm not doubting you, sir, but I can find NOTHING mentioning this. Since I was there, you'd think I would have heard something first hand. Since I was there most of the show, I'm wondering if I somehow missed this and it wasn't reported on the news. Last year, I remember a guy who lost his exhibitor's fee because he got caught with live ACP ammo. PLEASE verify this story and help me find info on it!! It would be tragedy if there were more than myth to this one!!!!

I hope this isn't true, but I've a feeling it is!

Granted I got this second hand from somebody who was there working as a vender. It happened after hours guy loaded his pistol put it in his backpack and I guess forgot to take the zip tie out and it discharged into the floor. Apparently it was a 5.7.

Only pictures of firearms will be allowed and the vendors will be doing a lot of hand motions and gestures to try to explain how the gun functions and what features it has. The anti arguement is that this is safer since the worst injury that could occur would be a paper cut.

This seems like the DEA agent who shot himself during a demonstration. for not following basic firearm safety rules.
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along." . . . You must do the thing you think you cannot do. Eleanor Roosevelt
