The glasses part I get lazy with sometimes, until last week when I learned my lesson. I had a bullet fragment riccochet right at me and hit me just (and I mean just) under my right eye. The only reason it didn't put my eye out is that it was a sunny day, and I could see it moving in the sunlight. My eye did it's natural "blink" reflex thing and it hit me on the bottom part of my eyelid and cut me. A very near miss! You can bet I'll wear my glasses every time from now on!
It is surely true that you can lead a horse to water but you can't make them drink. Nor can you make them grateful for your efforts.

I'll bet you $10 he can hit his head! No, wait, if he is ATF, the bet's off.
