    My Wife's new baby

My Honey wants to learn to shoot, so we went to the gun show to look at 22's. She played with them all, but liked the Walther P22 best. Picked one up with the laser for $320. Which I thought was a sweet price.

I got my wife a P22 as well. It can be a bit ammo finicky, but hers runs find with CCI mini-mags.

I tried some Federal bulk-pack in it, and it was a jam-o-matic.

Blame it on Sixto - now that is a viable plan.

Take the laser off until she learns how to shoot proper. Have fun.

I also got one awhile back for my girlfriend [x] to shoot. CCI ammo mini-mag also. All other ammo jammed. That was a nice price. Enjoy.

Bought my wife a .22 and she loaded and emptied the revolver about three times. She then eyed my H&K USPc .40 and said "I want to try that one that one. She shot four magazines and said "I like this one-the little one doesn't kick enough". God I love my wife!!!!!!!

    Good for her!
I will support gun control when you can guarantee all guns are removed from this planet. That includes military and law enforcement. When you can accomplish that, then I will be the last person to lay down my gun. Then I will carry the weapon that replaces the gun.

SIXTO is right. Take the laser off until she has learned proper techniques, otherwise, she will pick up bad habits that will be hard to correct because of her reliance on the red dot. Put it back on (for practice only) AFTER she has gotten proper sight alignment, breath control, grip, stance, etc under control.

Works with stingers and Federal bulk packs. It does shave a little lead with the federal ammo so just clean it after use.

We went to shoot it today and she had a blast. She only used the sights, no laser. She shot pretty good and wants to learn how to shoot better. She even went and asked at the counter on how to sign up and what caliber she had to shoot with to get her CHL.

+1 on that. Teach her to shoot with out the laser first of she will come to rely on it too much. Only after she is proficient with the gun and an accurate shooter with the sights should you introduce the laser unit to her training.

Nice little .22 by the way. I like the grip on it a lot and I like the way it feels more like a full caliber sized gun than most .22 lr handguns.
