    Identify this pistol......

I watched the last few minutes of Code name: The cleaner and saw Lucy Liu wielding this pistol. I though the pistol was pretty cool looking and would like to get some more info on it, thats if this piece really exists. Thanks for the help, sorry about the picture its the best one I could find. Hopefully some of you have seen the movie.

Looks like a Smith and Wesson metal frame series. Can't tell which, though.

Smith and wesson 3913 lady smith. At least we have one that looks exactly like that hanging on the wall at my work.

I agree, 3913 Lady Smith. I am currently trying to find a good price on a new one. It is a great concealed carry pistol; too often overlooked because of all the new tupperware on the market.

If I remember correctly the LadySmith is configured a bit differently so exact "stock" holster availability might be a problem.
Of course any custom holster maker could hand bone one right to the gun.

    3913ls

The only difference is the gray grips, the markings, and the safety-decocker is not ambidextrous.

Her gun handling of that 3913LS would be a lot more authentic if she would unball her left hand (now bunched around the mag well) & wrap her left fingers across the front of her right fist (formed by gripping the pistol). Then...if she would hook the tip of her right thumb & pull it down tight with her left OR run both thumbs down the frame toward the muzzle.

With ALL the $$$$$ spent /made on movies, you would think they would hire at least one serious handgunner to show them how NOT to look like they're holding a hot decaf double-latte'.

You are correct. The LS variant has a dust cover that tapers up toward the muzzle at its end. The standard 3919's dust cover runs straight out to its end. Some of the tightly molded 3919 holsters don't hold the LS tightly.
