Hey everyone, I have a Marlin 39M. I got it 2 days after I started walking (the day i started shooting) from my grandpa. I was wondering if anyone knew how to take it down as it needs cleaning. I want to keep it in great condition so I can give it to my son if that day ever comes, although I'll still use if for plinking (i can shoot a dime from 50 yards with it) and hunting small game. Thanks in advance

Here's a PDF file of the manual. It's for a Golden 39A, but the differences are minute. Be sure to pay attention to the part about the ejector, and do that little bit carefully. If it's never been taken down before, you may have to rap it pretty good, but it will come apart.
