How to attach a light to a gun without a rail

Can someone please tell me where I can get an adapter that I can install (or have a gunsmith do it) to add an light rail to a handgun without one. I read here that Surefire used to make one, and I've been searching ever since. Thanks in advance.

Someone once made a goofy looking mount that mounted on the baseplate of a magazine.

Have you tried contacting Taurus to see if they have anything?

Streamlight did make one... I had one for a Beretta 92. I dont know if I still have it or not, but if it will work on the Taurus, I'll send it to you N/C.

    100mph tape?
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.
