    Bi-tone XD .45's

Who knows when these are supposed to come out in stores? they are in SA's product catolog and on the website, but every time I check gun stores they haven't seen them yet. Bi-tones in the other calibers are already out and have been for a while.

They look awesome and I'd like to get one when they come out next time I'm in Ohio.

They've been out for awhile now. I had a 4" Service model, and sold it not long ago. I would suggest reading up on them over at XDTalk, before you buy one, because the Bi-Tones have some pretty disappointing corrosion issues.

I've had a bi-tone XD45 Tactical for almost 2 years now. Carried it everyday for almost a year with no problems.

The compact .45 may be what he is asking about.
I have seen the brown frame silver slide version for sale online. But not the true bi-tone, black/silver.
    I am waiting myself.

I enquired that same question to Springfield and here is part of the response.

"XD9649 (new for 2008) which is a .45ACP 4 Compact in Bitone, and we expect these to be available for purchase around March to April."

    I am waiting too!
