Thanks Bruces. I thought the holders that join multiple factory magazines are a neat idea. I think in the field, I'd actually want to use the factory magazine. It makes for a much slimmer, easier handling rifle.

I found this. It's cute. No I don't plan on getting one. But if I were to pimp it out I probably would.

Don't own one myself, but I've had *no* complaints on the current Butler Creek Hot Lips mags. We've sold cases of them in the last year and not a one has come back.

    Good to know rfurtkamp.

I've been poking around and seeing all the silly things people do with their 10/22s. Some are actually rather impressive, making groups the size of dimes at 50 yards. But many of them center around making it look a certain way.

I might try that target hammer that was suggested once I'm sure it shoots okay, but I actually don't have dreams of taking a $200 .22LR plinker and spending so much making it look awesome I could have just bought an AR-15 already.

Besides the 10/22 is actually pretty darn good right out of the box.

You've got the best 22 out there for plinking and fun. See the aftermarket support? Just shoot it the way it is, and maybe do the trigger thing. If you get it to shoot tight, then a good scope may be in order. Just drill and screw in the sling studs. Nice package deal! Now it's time for your meds.
