Buying guns with stimulus payment (Merged)

I was wondering on how many of you are planning on purchasing firearms with the stimulus check you are getting from the government and which gun or guns do you intend to buy? I am going to purchase a Ruger LCP with mine and probably stock up on ammo as well. Hopefully this increase in gun sales will send a message to the Brady campaign and all of the other anti gun crowds out there.

Yep. HK P2000 with .357 Sig barrel and .40 S&W barrel. I am supposed to have mine in the bank this week, but not yet. I hate waiting.

I hear you pgrass101 as that is what part of mine is going to also. A new garbage disposal. I was working on the toaster and one of the little screws rolled down into the garbage disposal without me knowing about it, my wife then turned it on later in the evening and well, you can imagine what happened next. She was not a happy camper.

I bought two already a S&W22-4 ThunderRanch Edition and a Mossberg 500a home defense shottie. I used my savings and hopefully will replace the money in my savings with the stimulus money. This will be hard because an AR and a Ruger Single Six are calling my name...Oh well I am married and have 3 kids, so my check is going to be pretty nice! So far this year alone I have purchased five guns...I really need help!

You know the old saying, "the only difference between men and boys, is the price of their toys!" I do think that you are doing the right thing here in case the Presidential election does not turn out well - we all may regret not buying the guns we truly wanted before the end of the year.

I wonder what Nancy Pelosi would think if she knew that the stimulus check for some people will go into buying a new gun.

No... we're saving for other things. Guns are budgeted into my regular expenses.

My money, that the government is just giving back to me, is going directly into the bank...
If I want another gun, I'll just go buy one...can't decide on something at this moment...so many guns, so little time...

I wish... Paying off debt... though there may be enough left over for a used 2nd Gen G19. Not that I've been thinking about it.

Going to get a dog. Dog's aren't that expensive, but all the extra stuff you need to care for one adds up fast and this will mean I don't have to save for another month to get it all. The rest is going to get a gun, not sure which at this point though.
