Be sure to clean the chamber carefully. Shooting shorter than normal rounds in an autopistol can result in material being shaved off at the front of the chamber. That material can build up and affect reliability or, in an extreme case, act as a partial obstruction.
That doesn't happen in revolvers because they headspace on the rim and there's not an abrupt step at the front of the chamber but rather a gradual taper.
