I'm thinking the Model 13 is a model 19 with fixed sights. Not sure about that but in any case you are a lucky man. Nice revolver.

    Not quite.

The Model 19 has a shrouded ejector rod.

The Model 13 is a Model 10 on steroids.

    Very nice Pistola,

I've had 3 13's at one time or another. Two in 4" and one in 3". They are natural pointers.

    Cool

Just got a Mod 65-3 new in box 3'' barrel. Now it has 98 rounds through the tube. Nice, no lock.

You have a "do-it-all" handgun in that Model 13. Good for you!

Smith & Wesson ought to be covered up in orders for such revolvers (without the lock) but...sadly, the buying public is looking the other direction.
