Buy a New car and get a free gun! (merged)
A car dealer in Bulter Mo. is running a promotion buy a car and choose between a semi auto pistol or free gas card worth $250.00
So far 80% have taken the gun after they passed the back ground check.
The dealer said It was a chioce of protection or gas, theft of gas and car jacking have both increased in this area.
This promotion really worked because the dealer got a lot of news coverage.

Down here in the woods, you expect a new shotgun or rifle if you buy a truck during deer, duck,or turkey season

It looked like a Kel-Tec P3AT and what you get from the dealer is a coupon to take to the local gun shop.
I like the deal in MS. I'm ready to trade in my truck and I could use a new shot gun, might have to go south this fall.

$250 gas card? Soon that will only get you about 50 gallons! I would take the firearm!

+1 I think it would be stupid to get gas. the gun will go up in value and the gas will get used up.

Fuel is rising faster than gun values, especially a KelTec.

$250 will get you a nice, pre lock, carried but not shot S&W J-frame in .38 Spcl or cover most of a Sig 225(P6) if you want to kick in a bit more.

So you should get the gas, put it in a storage tank and sell it again in a few months to buy a much nicer gun?
