Yep, when I go to sleep I put my holster and my mag pouch on my nightstand. But, if I hear a bump in the night I'm still grabbing a shotgun.
Yes. The little gunvault next to my bed is open at nite and contains 2 pistols with night sights and and extra mag each. Closed during the day or if I am not at home.

I have to admit that I leave my second mag in the pocket of the jeans that I'm going to wear the next day.

I have two extra mags on my headboard with my gun, my wifes 357, 12 gauge on each side of the bed, and an AR behind the door. You can never be too prepared.

Not right next to the gun, but my spare is usually on the dresser nearby. If something really goes bump in the night, I'm picking up my AR.
