    Extra magazine at night

When you go to bed, do you store an extra magazine with your gun on/in the nightstand?

+1. I've got one next to my pistol and two more in the drawer (next to my 870).

If I am near my firearm (and I always am...), I'm also near an extra mag...always...

Stay armed...don't leave home without it (extra mag)...stay safe!

Yep, when I go to sleep I put my holster and my mag pouch on my nightstand. But, if I hear a bump in the night I'm still grabbing a shotgun.
There are two sides to every issue: one side is right and the other is wrong, but the middle is always evil.

Yes. The little gunvault next to my bed is open at nite and contains 2 pistols with night sights and and extra mag each. Closed during the day or if I am not at home.

Better to have an extra mag and not need it than need it and not have it!

I have to admit that I leave my second mag in the pocket of the jeans that I'm going to wear the next day.
The preceding post may contain sarcasm; it's just better that way. However, it is still intended with construction and with the Love of my L-rd Y'shua.

I have two extra mags on my headboard with my gun, my wifes 357, 12 gauge on each side of the bed, and an AR behind the door. You can never be too prepared.

Not right next to the gun, but my spare is usually on the dresser nearby. If something really goes bump in the night, I'm picking up my AR.

    Never.

If I need an extra mag it's likely the police on a no-knock warrant with the wrong address so I'm dead anyways.
