Want to be a certified Range Master.

So I need some help, here. I work on an Air Force Base and I have been wanting to take some Airmen out to the range to shoot. To do that, I need to be certified as a Range Master. It's too long to go into but there have been enough Darwin Incidents in the past couple years that I think they would just like the range to go away. Now I'm wondering if I got Ranger Master certification in the civilian world would that grease the skids to start the process for on base certification? I am a civilian contractor and am no longer active duty. I used to take Airmen off base to the local range but Risk Management will no longer let me do that. Anybody, civilian or active duty have any suggestions?

Aren't the Air Force Combat Arms Instructors are the gatekeepers to the on base range? They are certified as Instructors/Armorers in all weapons platforms as well as Rangemasters. A hard resume to beat for running a range. I'm a LEO Rangemaster and I am absolutely not allowed to run the range on my nearby base, I must have a Military rangemaster there.
