See Anything Not Quite Right Here?

You know if you're going go through all of the effort and trouble to have a foundry die made in order to cast a COLT commemorative ingot in .999 Fine pure Silver - you really should consult with somebody that is actually familiar with the Colt semi-auto handgun.

Poor ol' slabsides - what did they do to you?

    See anything wrong with this?

    Find the boo-boos.

It's a** backwards! The mag release and slide take down notch are on the wrong side.

    Thumb safety notch.
It appears to be Commander length.

Umm...I'm not a 1911 guy, but isn't that the wrong cut for the ejection port?

thumb safety notch, take down notch, 'ambi' mag release
There are two sides to every issue: one side is right and the other is wrong, but the middle is always evil.

Slide stop is too far back.

Slide serrations are angled the wrong way.

Is that a 1911-A1 frame (bevel around back of trigger) with a flat MSH and what looks like a 1911 grip saftey. Also the previuosly noted slide cuts for the thumb saftey and slide stop are on the wrong side. Slide markings are on the wrong side and no lanyard loop on the magazine (depends on what version the maker is trying to replicate).

So are you going to send all our observations to the manufacturer?

What about the Browning High Power profile on the front of the slide?
