    Question for you XD guys

    I seem to keep getting a "wet" spot around the hole on the slide, where the striker pin is. Is this normal?

    Get a can of compressed air and blow the excess oil out of the workings of your gun.

    That could be from excitement because it is such a great gun to shoot, but probably the other, just needs the oil blown out.

    when you lube you're gun do you lightly oil the slide rails and wipe barrel with an oily rag or do you use the submerge and let it drip off method

    I try to lightly oil. But it seems that it doesn't always turn out that way.

    get a can of compressed air that you would use for the computer...worked wonders on firearms...for all kinds of difficult places and uses...

    I get it after a cleaning for a couple of days. I dont over-lube the gun, but I'll get some of the leftover coming out. I just keep wiping it for a few days and it goes away.
