I have a chance to pick one of these up. Anyone have any experience with them? How about carry?

Slightly big and heavy for carry, and a little on the unrefined side of things, but they are solid good shooters.

M&P Doc- Just ask.
The guy has a crossbreed holster with it. So it could be carried? I have only seen pics on the web. I can't find any specs on these.
I owned one but I got rid of it a long time ago. It was never very accurate, fairly large, and to me it felt top heavy. I wouldn't own another one unless I got it for a great price. +/- $250 and since I know they go for $350+ I will never expect to get another.
Thanks for the feed back. I know Ruger has a pretty good reputation. Sounds like a decent pistol.
I ended it up with it. Can't wait to shoot it.

I think you'll enjoy it. I've got the 40 cal version, and it shoots great.
Combat accurate, reliable, and built like an anvil-you'll never hurt it with any ammo. I've yet to find any ammo that won't feed properly in mine, and they're a snap to field strip for cleaning. Get a set of Hogue wraparound grips for it-they make a world of difference in handling and shooter accuracy-I found that it likes to "squirm around" when firing with the factory Ruger grip panels. I also have a set of Meprolight night-sights on it-they're a gem in the dark, and worth every penny.
I'm trying to find the best concealed holster option right now for mine.

This doesn't look too far off of the original P85 which is what I have -- big and bulky, but tough as nails! I LOVE the incredibly simple field strip. No tools.
It is utterly illogical to believe that passing laws to reduce gun violence will be successful when those who are commiting the gun violence do not obey the law.
It was a great gun. Shot well, reliable. But I already sold it and put a Ruger SP101 in layaway. What can I say.
I absolutely love my P94! It is accurate, easy to shoot and is enjoyable to shoot.
Great weapon jlangton. I have the exact same one, and I must say I absolutely love it! Hogue grips make all the difference in the world.
The P94 was my first carry weapon. It was reliable enough; I just didn't like the DA/SA.
