    Kudo's for Para Ordnance

I have a Para C.45 LDA that had recently developed feeding problems and problems with the slide not locking back after last round. This is an older firearm that I did not purchase new and was not under warranty. I called them to see if they could repair it and I would pay for any charges. They gave me a return auth. number and said to send it in with a letter stating the problems. Yesterday (4 weeks later) the UPS man came and delivered my firearm back to me with NO CHARGES. They put in a new recoil system, gave me a new mag, updated all springs and replaced my old dull night sights with brand new ones ALL FREE OF CHARGE. I haven't fired the weapon yet to see how it performs, but I just thought that I would give kudo's to Para's customer service.

Sounds to me as though someone there knows what customer service really means. Hope they fixed the problem you sent it in for. Good luck with it.

I hope so too. They said that they test fired it with FMJ and JHP ammo. I will soon find out.

I had a very similar experience with my 7.45 CCW. Now my next purchase will most likely be a another Para. I'm rather interested in a double stack Night TAC LDA for HD use.

I went and shot it today and put 100 rounds through it without one hitch of any kind. I shot 50 rounds of FMJ and 50 rounds of hydra shock hollow points and it fed every time and the slide locked back every time. I think I can put it back on duty now.

Thats exactly what Para is trying to do, re-invent themselves.

Always had a good opinion of Para.
    This confirms what I'd believed!
    Thumbs up big time!
