    Basic Glock troubleshooting FYI

Since there seem to be alot of Glock questions here lately and since the Glock line of pistols seems to drag more of them in every day and for good reason, I'd like to present a basic troubleshooting guide just for those oddball times when you're not sure what's up with your new-to-you Glock.

Not that other Glock owners won't want to answer questions or make suggestions or anything---it's just a start to help some folks narrow down the possibilities before they become disconcerted with their new Glock pistol and post a help wanted ad.

What?! I thought Glocks were trouble free.

    Thanks for the reference.

Seems like that to me as well--maybe that was back in the old days? Recent events and economics may be playing an important role in that assumption now. Cheap ammo, a quick pick for a new pistol before TSHTF, buying used rather than new, inexperience perhaps, etc........ The Glock pistol does stand on it's own-----it's the other variables that are being thrown at it now that seem to be the issues.

I need some of that ammo for my 1911 or is that some kinda glock specific nuclear tipped stuff.I think most problems I've seen with a glock is improper shooting technique IE limp wristing which can cause lots of autos to jam,In my CHL class there was a lady had never shot a gun in her life and the glock she rented jammed every shot,I was watching and the gun was almosting flying out of her hand with each shot, she managed to pass the minimum score and was issued her CHL to carry anything revolver or semi, which is scary because she was a business owner and i'm almost positive she bought a gun and tossed it in a drawer at the office never to pick it up again until she had to,I don't have a crystal ball but i think i can predict the outcome of that encounter
