My Kimber Broke
Well I was shooting my Pro CDPII at work and when i went to reengage the safety only the left side of it flipped up. Upon going back upstairs and going in the back and taking my gun apart I took the safety out. I found that part of my safety had broken the part of the ambi safety that looks like a horseshoe had broken off. We are going to call kimber on monday, do you think they will send me a new safety or am I going to have to send my new baby off to get fixed

I'm guessing that, unless you are a certified gunsmith, they are going to meke you send it back.

I wouldn't take Kimber's safety.
I, too, had a MIM Kimber safety issue on my Kimber. It was giving and bending and would have broken if I hadn't replaced it before it did so. Why risk having the same issue happen again?
Get a Wilson Combat machined steel safety from Brownells and pay a local gunsmith to install it. The $100 you'll spend will be worth the peace of mind that it's not going to just break again in 6 months.

MIM parts, ain't they great?
Take Lima's advice, its golden and she is 100% correct.

Do not replace the Kimber MIM (Metal Injection Molded) safety with a new MIMber part.
You are leaving yourself wide open for a catastrophic failure by replacing that part with another MIM part.
I wouldn't take one even free of charge & with prepaid shipping.
+1 Limatunes ~ Buy a machined forged replacement part from Brownell's.
In fact if you do not use the thumb safety ambidextrously then forget the Ambi and just install a regular traditional thumb safety.
