Raw materials are now at world market prices and we are stuck! It goes with all products and we are getting hammered from everyone blaming China and India.I doubt it's just these two countries alone causing this shortage with everything we now need. Our soliders were expending 5.5 million rounds of 223or 556 a month and we got caught with our pants down.We only have one armory making bullets so we started using our inventory rapidly.Powers to be now have started another shift and looked to private companies to fill short fall.
This created an artificial shortage for civilian consumers and has driven prices threw the roof.I say the war has cause a large increase in ammo costs for us
due to componets shortages, artificial shortfalls in certain calibers the military uses.To put it more simply supply and demand.
I didn't buy any, because I'm not the type of person to try "the newest thing". I prefer tried and true myself.
