    XD45 13rd mag repair

Okay, I admit it, I my guns and everything related to them. At my last training session we were on a concrete pad conducting moving failure drills and I stepped on one of my dropped mags. Everything seemed fine until I tried to drop it during another drill - it sticks about 2" out of the gun. Pressure is on the front and back of the mag - clearly it's been bowed out a little from being stepped on.

Obviously the mag is now relegated to target and training use permanently. That said, is there a recommended way to correct this issue? Vice? Pressure from inside? Bang on it until it's better?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Well - anything other than "don't step on it". I get that part now.

I guess I'll bang on it with a hammer.

you can exert more equal pressure in a vice,I would cover the jaws with smooth guards so you don't dimple the steel and squeeze it slowly until it's returned to shape
