I am considering buying a pistol on an online auction site. Once the auction ends they will ship to an FFL.
1. How hard is it to find a local FFL holder who will participate in this sort of deal?
2. How much do they typically charge?

GunsAmerica has a good list, there a tons of FFLs out there.
Typical charge is $20-$30, but I've seen it as high as $75.

My guy charges $25, but usually waives it for his regular good customers. Always nice to have a relationship with an FFL.

The online auction site might have a link to local participating FFL's. Gunbroker does and I know others do too.
