    AR15 over/under?

A question about the long gun and short gun in another thread got me to thinking...I know I'm a bit slow, but my lack of good enough knowledge of the platform is hampering my thoughts at the moment.

    The question...
Does anyone know of an AR15 with an over/under attachment or even built in as part of the platform for 12guage? Rather than the M203 attachment, do they have one for shotties? Just a thought

Yes, they make a shotgun atachment but you will need a AOW tax stamp seeing that is lees than an 18" barrel.

Thanks, that's kinda what I was looking for, although it looks like the receiver for the shotgun could make mag changes a bit tight on the AR.

Doesn't make mag changes any harder than a 203 does for the 16, and if you do it right its not really an issue.

Yuck the price is high on that. I think I will stick to my AR with the surefire foregrip. Plus I am sure the weapon would be hella heavy with the shotgun attached. Looks cool......

    I have to ask.... Why?

Other than as a breaching tool, I don't see much use but I've been wrong before.
You have to make the shot when fire is smoking, people are screaming, dogs are barking, kids are crying and sirens are coming.

Pretty much the only use the military has for it since we can't use buckshot is as a breaching tool.
