    Dead Night Sights

Does anyone know whether or not Trijicon will replace dead tritium cylinders with new? I have one SA with dead night sights. They are not under warranty.

Anyone had them replaced, and if so what is the cost?

I have emailed them, but who knows when I will get a reply.

    Thanks,
    Jerry

I figure it would be more to replace the tritium vials than it would be to buy a whole new set of night sights. You could always ask though. Here's their contact us page.

Thanks, and I also figure it would be at least as much as the initial. In fact I have never had a need for them, and am not willing to go to much trouble.

If they aren't under warranty why would they replace them. Tritium has a finite lifespan, when their done their done. Try the TFO's by TruGlo I just got a set for my G23 and they are awesome, brightest site I have ever used, in daytime and in total darkness.

I'm assuming that they are at least a decade old?

    Just replace them...

AFAIK, Trijicon is the only tritium night manufacture that actually uses vials so they can be replaced while you retain your original sights.

    Thanks, OD.
As I consider it, it would appear that except for the drilling, it is as much work to replace as to initially install. Maybe there will be some break since no drilling is required, but I have not found out yet if they will do it.

    Jerry

Let us know what you find out, if you would, Jerry.
It has been quite a number of years since I've dealt directly with Trijicon, things may have changed.

Will do, and I hope they will answer their mail.
    Best,
