    Grip Extension?

Just my opinion but rather than the two round grip extension, I would use the grip adapter to allow the high cap. midsize Glock mags in the small gun like the G-26. Allows 15 rounds in a 26 by way of a G-19 mag.

Besides, if you add a magazine exstention you just created something the size of the Glock 19. I'd rather have the Glock 19 if that's the case.

Hey Bikerrn, I am continually surprised at the number of guys that use a P35 in their signature picture. I thought I was about the last dude in the country whose favorite handgun is a Hi-Power.

That is exactly what I ended up doing.

Thanks for the input on the 19. I foresee buying either a 19 or 23 down the road. I like having my little finger on the grip and not under so I had figured I might as well get the +2. I do under stand what you mean. I can always revert back to if needed or just want to.

I chose to buy the magazines that are set up to hold 12 rounds, rather than fooling around with the extension. I bought a bunch of the mags, and that's all that i use in that gun. To find them just Google "Glock 26 12 round magazine"

I have had issues with mag extensions. Over the last few months, I have had 3, +2 extensions come off the mag during a slide back reload at USPSA matches. The base comes off, the spring flys out and the rounds hit the ground. I have used these for a number of years. It appears that the use has causes the plastic to flex and lose it's hold on the mag. Becareful with them for self defense. I do not use things like these on carry guns.

You're not alone. Most folks that "use" their Glocks stay away from the extensions.

Good to know info! Thanks guys! I'm thinking I like the idea of buying a 15 round mag to carry as a spare mag as well as a couple factory 12 round mags and will keep the 10 round short mags as they are. I didn't mention before but I also want to ba able to carry it in a ankle holster so I will need the shorts mags the way they are.

This is very true, IMO, the extensions are the mark of an amatuer... I know I'll twist some panties with that comment, but its how I feel about it.
I didnt mention it before, because it wasnt the question asked. Now that it has been brought up, I think its a bit stupid to buy a small gun, only to make it bigger and less reliable with aftermarket add ons, when you could have bought a G19 to begin with.
There is nothing wrong with using a full size magazine as a spare for your G26...it beats the pants off the extension thing.

I use the Pearce PG-26 grip extensions (no capacity change) on my carry magazines. I like them for reloading quickly from magazine carriers. They don't really add to the size of the gun, and are just as strong or stronger than the stock bases. I have a bunch of Glock +2 extensions on my range magazines. I put the Wolff + power springs in them, but don't like them for carry.

Although it's already been stated, get the G-19 before putting an extension on the G-26.
Personally, I'd just keep the G-26 as it is...it's pure stealth in an IWB holster...

    Stay armed...stealth helps...stay safe!
