BUT, while we are on the subject of pen guns....The Pen Type Flare Launchers would a "must have" if you spend any time out and about alone.
I like to "head out" with Me, Myself, & I as I'm the only one that REALLY enjoys my own company.
I have one & they do work just fine & send up a nice bright signal.

In case I bust my leg bones up (in the middle of nowhere) I feel better having one with me.
This company is in Canada but, you can find them at most Wilderness Supply places in the Good Old U. S. of A. ~ $30.00 will get you a decent one....& some spare flares...(hey I'm a poet!)

You know...I don't want to come across as being COLD HEARTED & honestly I'm never overjoyed about any young person getting plugged...but, this "Rapper" is exactly the sort of numbskull/dolt that USUALLY ends up either killing somebody else....or completely throwing at least 10 other halfway decent lives into total ruination.

I highly doubt it was a legal owned weapon, but notice no mention in the article of course. Guess it goes to show, ya put a gun to yer head it might kill ya. (what a dumb###)

Pen gus are legal, in most places, as long as you're legal to own one. The AOW version in .38 Spl or 9mm is more practical, but cool, either way.

Note to self: When playing Russian Roulette, use a revolver (preferrably 8 or 9 shot), not a single-action, single-shot. Doh!
