    colt detective special firing pin replacement?

    How difficult is it to install a new firing pin on a colt detective special? I notice the hammer does not have the pin hole through the hammer holding the firing pin in place like S&W's and older colt d frames do,so what mounts the firing pin on the hammer then? does replacing the hammer mounted firing pin require replacing the whole hammer or is there a way to remove and install the new one? thanks.
