    Gun Control

I saw someone posted this three rule gun control procedure before: 1. Keep your finger off the trigger. 2. Keep your D*&^ finger off the trigger. 3. Keep your D*&^ finger off of the D*&^ trigger. Had this been following, the young lady would still be with us.

There is no such thing as an accident...only mistakes.
There are two sides to every issue: one side is right and the other is wrong, but the middle is always evil.

So, a few years is probably good enough. But then, I ain't no perfect jury either.

a complete moron, and a tragic story that common sense could have avoided.
I think that's Rule #2. Rule #1 is "a gun is always loaded". But this idiot forgot them all. Don;t people need to at least take a minimum class to understand firearms before they get them?

    Differing thoughts on this subject.

On one hand, you can't fix stupid. He just did not take the proper precautions, but did not intend to maliciously kill his girlfriend.

On the other, this could be an excellent cover for a real murder. Negilgent Homicide beats the punishment of first degree. "here honey look at my gun". Maybe I am getting more and more pessimistic with age, but with our times anything is possible.
