I have a P89 with the manual safety, and the left side lever is loose when the safety is off. When I shake the gun the safety rattles. I just wanted to know if anyone has noticed this on their P89/P95/P94/90/P345.
Thanks.

No, I've kept a P89 for a long time and never had anything happen with it.

I've got the P85 MKII with the fixed safety problem -- always been solid...
It is utterly illogical to believe that passing laws to reduce gun violence will be successful when those who are commiting the gun violence do not obey the law.
My P95 has a decocker and it does not rattle.

My 95 has the decocker too, no problems at at with any of my Rugers.
Never noticed that on my P345.
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, "I have lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along." . . . You must do the thing you think you cannot do. Eleanor Roosevelt
I have a P95 that's about 4 yrs. old.
The safety/decocker is not loose in any position.
How old is yours ? Have you talked to Ruger about it ?
P944 here with no rattles and about 200 rounds through it.
I called Ruger and the lady told me that it wasn't really a big deal, but I could send it to them and they will tighten it up. So I will be sending it to Ruger this week. thanks for all of your reply's.
