Thx for that link Bruce - an interesting read.

I'll stick to ''atmospheric'' shooting I think but - interesting inp articular re taking gun out of water and firing immediately - seemingly OK but I always wonder if a small area of residual water in barrel, whether a slight bulge (hard to see but measurable) might occur.

The bottom line is this, If I am ever in a gun fight and there is water around, my arse is jumping in. Every one of those JHP's stopped in less than 4 feet under the water

Bud, maybe you could upload the DVD and post for us to see

not much use firing underwater unless yer point blank . Also you may not have any hearing left if your head is underwater at the time. Better just to ue a P11 for underwater work.

Interesting that water resistance can cause expansion like that. Gotta wonder if any expansion/jacket separation happens while still in the barrel. Could lead to a REALLY bad day if your hand is wrapped around the grip.
