    9mm Carbine Question?

I'm looking for a 9mm Carbine that takes Glock magazines. I have checked out the Kel-Tec Sub 2000 and it is basically what I'm looking for. Does anyone else make anything similar that takes Glock magazines?

Kel-Tec Sub2000 takes Glock mags, as you already found out.

I cannot verify this but I've heard that Olympic Arms makes AR lowers that will accept Glock magazines.
    Edit: Here's a link: http://www.olyarms.com/index.php?pag...mart&Itemid=37

A few minutes of Googling came up with some conversion kits to use Glock mags with other guns, but no other weapons that will take them stock.
You can apparently convert the Ruger 9mm carbines to use Glock mags.

    Hope that helps a bit.

    Peace,
    Pete Zaria.

Seems nigh-impossible to find a 9mm sub2000, or I'd own one right now.

Getting a new Sub2000 is hard, however, there are a few on Gunbroker right now. I really wish that Glock made a 9mm Carbine.

Olympic arms makes a Glock mag pistol cal AR. I had some issues with mine but it is working great right now. I like the G-mag, I can use all my 9mm mags with it.
This was my 1st pistol cal AR and my 1st Olyarms. I have heard horror stories about Oly and also about pistol cal AR's in general. I think pistol cal AR's are more sensitive in general but I am having fun with mine. It took a like attention but it turned out the be the ammo WW white box. Ever one is diff. Ask for input and then buy what you like.

I been saying for years that the industry is missing a huge market in this area. Yes, there has been P.C.C's in the past, and only Ruger got it right....for the most part.

Beretta has theirs, and it is a good shooter, but I think the styling turns off a lot of people. I like KelTecs idea too, but it just doesnt feel right.

I agree with you Sixto manufactures are missing a segment of market in 9mm and 45 acp for sure. Marlin and ruger and ruger made them and I don't know
why they stopped.Hi point makes them but they look awful rough for my taste
for about $200 .I want the traditional look with wood.

If I could dream, I'd like a wood stocked gun along the lines of an M1Carbine in 9mm that would accept Glock 17 magazines. The Mech Tech is pretty neat. Anyone have any personal experience with one?

Uh, er, ya. I have one.

Looks very cool. Easy to get the Glock frame into. I bought the 9mm so I can put either a .40 or 9mm frame in it. It is kinda heavy but maybe I am just not used to carrying a rifle. Get occasional malfunctions so I would not rely totally on it for HD. Works great for matches and a throw in your truck gun for camping or hiking.

If you are not married to glock mags, consider the CX-4 Storm, takes 92 pistol mags and very accurate.

the storm is very EZ to clean unlike the HiPoint Arms
    also much higher quality.
I have it in .45 cal.

    +2, I would concur. I have the 9mm 92 series CX4. It's a terrific little carbine. :)

    I've got a Ruger PC9GR and I love it.

My brother-in-law has the Beretta carbine. It's ok, easier to trick out. That's probably why the sights are awful.
