That's why I am now in VA. However, the bay area has more shooting / comp opportunities than any other place that I have lived. Some GREAT shooter and some great ranges. It's a restrictive state but the shooters are hardcore and good people. It's the non-shooters and the politicians that are the issue.

I certainly wish I could bring my 229 along and carry, as we are driving down and back. Just to bring it across the border I would need an Alaskan hunting licence, a Form 6 and a range invite. Maybe next time I will get my act together.
