Wife got me "The Judge" for my birthday

My wife surprised me last week and took me to the local gun shop and bought "The Judge" for my birthday. How I love that woman. Haven't gotten a chance to shoot it yet, was wondering if anyone else had one and how they liked it.

Congratulations on the birthday and the Judge. My last birthday my wife surprised me with a Sig 239. Well it's actually hers, but I get to use it.

Hey, somehow we're in the same birthday club.

Congrats! I just bought the Judge for my wife for her birthday for killing snakes and in the hopes she would eventually carry it, at least in her car. She just killed a snake the other day with the rack, however, so it ain't looking good.

I purchased a 3" Ultra-Lite Judge last Saturday. I've only fired a few rounds of 410 and 45LC through it so far, but I think I'm going to like it. I was afraid the ultra lite would kick too much, but it is really not too bad.

The .410 is a poor SD round but the 45 LC is a great stopper. A nice big fat 250 gr. WFN cast bullet clipping along at about 900 FPS is going to be major "discouragement" to even the biggest and most drugged up felon on the street.

I have one in the 4 inch limited editon barrel. I like it fine. it is fairly accurate with the 45 rounds and the 410 rounds get a lot of attention. However , I read reviews statein the 3 pellet buckshot rounds only penetrated about 4 inches. gettting with 3 pellets at one time up close should do the job.

    Happy Birthday
    Great wife

I read some comments about lack of penetration of the .410.
However a shot - in the face or the neck - at close range with larger birdshot (#4 or #2) would be a show stopper. Just thinking about it makes me shudder !!!

Enjoy your Judge and let us know how you like it
