642 or AR upper?

Well I am currently in the process of selling my Taurus 1911, since it just sits in the safe since I bought my Kimber.

So the big prediciment I am in now is whether to buy a Smith and Wesson 642 for pocket carry or an AR upper to complete my lower I have waiting...

1)Good for Pocket Carry but I have an HK and Kimber that I carry now

1) Get it finished before the election and it will be my first one

I only have the money I am getting from the Taurus plus a little extra not enough for both... what would you all suggest

Get the upper while you can to finish your rifle,until you do you can't shoot it

I say finish the AR. You already have a carry gun so it can wait. Unless you are in need of a pocket gun b/c you cant carry your normal carry gun somewhere, then I would opt for the 642

Same here...finish your AR while you can. Then stock up on ammo. That will be the next wave of gun control...ammo is not protected by the Second Ammendment.

Finish the AR before the Election. And buy as much ammo for it as you can afford, then borrow some money and buy even more ammo for it.

You should still be able to buy the 642 even after the Election.
Ammo MAY be another story though.

I agree with finish the AR & ammo.
