I can do a detail strip on a 1911 in the dark. Anyone have good references to help me with my Glocks? I've got G19s and a G32. I'd love to be able to completely disassemble them for maintenance.

Thanks R&G, but I can field strip them. I'd like a detailed trip through complete disassembly.

Look on YouTube - Broadcast Yourself. and search for kickedintheballs2000 he has awesome videos. I looked at his Glock 17 review, and learned everything I needed for my Glock 27 in ref. to disassembly. It's a really easy pistol to maintain.

If you would like a CD just let me know. Send me a PM...it's extensive and just what you need.
Thanks Rex, it was fast moving, but I caught it. What about the frame disassembly?

If you watch the whole clip, you'll get a lot out of it. I watched it once, and when I disassembled I watched a second time, and it's real easy. As far as the frame I wouldn't be too concerned unless your changing out parts I.E. trigger, etc.. That's what makes a Glock so great. very low maintenance, and reliable.. If you do want to mess with the frame just go to a gun show and let them do it at the booth. The one tool I have is called a Glock tool. Nothing more than a punch really, but you can take down the whole pistol with it.. Glad you got use from the video. Another person who does great videos also is passive101 he is also very informative.
Take care, be safe!

I just did a weekend class shooting almost 2000 rounds. I can peek down inside some of the nooks and crannies in the frame with a flashlight...it is filthy. That's why I'd like to learn. I'm old school. I don't pay someone to do something I can unless it's really time consuming. I clean my 1911's to the bone while watching TV.

I run a patch cloth through my Glock, and inside the magazine well. I shoot the piss out of mine also. I'll have to look at mine with a flashlight.. I do see your point also.
