Had one , sold it. Ordering another one tomorrow. The only problem, if you want to call it that, was with the 10 rd mag. I got the Pearce grip extensions for all of the 10 rd mags. I do have rather large hands though. Other than that it was a sweet carry piece. the only thing I will do different on the one I am ordering is to get the bi-tone and night sights. It is a really nice shooter, right out of the box. You wont be disapointed. If you find yourself wanting to carry OWB, I have a Don Hume holster you might be interested in.

I have the .40 sub compact. it shoots very well and accurately. This was a bit of a suprise for me as it has a 3inch barrel and a large calber.
I would buy another.

I like mine. It hides well and shoots well.
Keep the Pearce grip extensions in mind if the short mag seems a little short for your hand.

I love it. One thing about the 9mm XD I have... I like the 15 shot mags, but even more than that... where some of my guns have trouble with some ammo types (147 gr HP, etc), the XD shoots any ammo, type, or brand that I put in it with no issues.

Great, I am getting it at a good price $350 so if I don't like I could always get my money back. Also, Major what type of holster, any pics and what is OWB. Sorry I am not good with the slang yet on boards

I've had one Since January. It's very pleasant to shoot and amazingly accurate for the size. The Pearce grip extension are new to me, but I like 'em.
Discount your first impressions of the trigger... this design definitely get's smoother/lighter after a few hundred cycles. Dry fire seems to do the trick.
It's a little thick compared to my 1911, and the short barrel makes it seem to lean away from me more than my 4in XD Service. I'm still doing some experimentation with holsters, as the budget allows.
I think you'll like it.

OWB on waist band. I looked it up. I thought that's what it was. Guys what are your suggestions for CC.

I love mine. I don't need the pierce grip thingies, but a lot of people like them, so if you don't like the short grip try them before you decide that you don't like short mags.

great piece! I was going to buy one for my wife, so we barrowed a friends. Shot great, felt a little on the heavy side, but I loved it. the .40 was too much for my wife to handle but it would've been a great Concealed weapon.

OWB, is outside the belt / pants. IWB, is Inside the belt line of the pants.
For some good leather and not super expensive holsters that I really like.... is Don Hume. They have some good one's for XD's.

I love mine, EDC since I got it about a month ago.
Took a little while to get used to it's "thick brick" feeling on hip, but now it's just natural part of my wardrobe. And really, I was used to a Kahr, which is just barely a gun you can feel at all
Shoots great, eats everything I've fed it, points naturally, pretty good with it right off the bat at 10 yards without sights and that's really saying something cause I don't claim to be much a shot all in all.
I put Pearce extender on it, even shaved it down to minimal (in pic), but still didn't like the way that little point stuck out under shirt some, so now just carry it with stock 10 rounder. I did put a decal grip on the outside part of grip and on thumb slot to facilitate getting it out of holster in a hurry.
I can't think of a more perfect all around carry piece, unless it could be thinner. But the tradeoff in capacity makes it worth it for me, since I carry the 16 rounder as spare, too.
