    Glock Customer Service

    I just had a GREAT customer service experience with Glock. I had a G23 break the left rear frame rail after 8 years of hard use. I called Glock and they said "send it back". It has been a little over 2 weeks and I got it back today. There was only 3 original parts left on it - the slide, the barrel and the night sights - everything else was new including the drop-free Hi-cap mag to replace my non drop-free mag. What great service!

    Glock is Glock! Always good customer service! By the way...ask for free stuff whenever you call them. Looking forward to my 2009 calendar actually. Maybe I'll call tomorrow. They actually have real persons that answer the phones! Glad for your good experience with them....it's nothing out of the ordinary actually.

    I would assume it's kinda like the Maytag Repair Man ... damn happy to have someone to talk to when you call.

    Customer service is usually reserved for the fringe benefits of being a Glock owner. Lots of freebies and support equipment. You XD owners need to contact Springfield BTW for hats, t-shirts, pens, keychains, and calendars. Glock is for Glock owners. They have their ways of finding out.

    The left rear frame rail sheared off. It was made in late 2001. They had an issue with a small batch of "e" series frames back then. I'm surprised that this problem did not show up before. This 23 had about 25000 rounds thru it. It even functioned with the broken rail!!!!!!
