regret every one of em except 2 , a tec .22 and a high point .45 LOL i guess the new gun would be a kahr pm9 reciently aqqired for a " stand in " untill i get my german ppks re blued , it put the ppks into honorable semi reitrment ( gonna be a bbq gun now )

I kicked myself for selling a Winchester 1300 Defender 12 guage....it ate at me...ended up getting a Rem H/D 18 in full synthetic to replace it...

I just sold an OD green Glock 19...but for some reason I dont regret it..LOL prolly the 5 other Glocks Ive got...hahaha

An HK P9S Combat in 9mm (with four mags...or was it five?) and a pre-72 Colt Detective Special that was a beater when I purchased in eons ago in Puerto Rico, but also had the best trigger pull I've ever felt on a gun.

I regret trading my Kel-Tec folding carbine for the Beretta M92, although the M92 has been a great IDPA gun. I regret trading my Colt Officer's 45 in a straight swap for my Rossi Overland Exposed Hammer shotgun. I regret selling my Glock M30. I REALLY regret selling my AR-15 "Green Gun!" I also regret selling my first M1A to pay a bill. lol Learned my lesson on that one. But I was very young and dumb...I regret selling my electroless nickel Python 4" and I regret selling my original Star PD in 45.

Those that stand out most notably are a Smith and Wesson 686 and a pre-ban Colt AR-15.

Oh my - how to keep brief!!!

OK well - for starters, without itemizing - imagine yourselves being ''robbed'' of 24 handguns - like I was in '97 by UK Gubmint!! Got monetary comp' but hey - you can imagine what it might be like.

Otherwise - traded my BSA MkII Martini target .22 rifle and a folding .410 single shot - for my first M27 Smith - I still miss the Martini action a lot and wish I had had the cash to buy Smith outright!

I ''lost'' too in UK earlier in 90's a tasty Stirling carbine - and Mini-14 - semi's were banned! Sheesh - they finished up wall hangers and a painful reminder every time I looked at em. replaced the Mini but the Stirling - a very sad loss. Must have a pic of that - somewhere.

Sold my P3AT this last year - didn't like it a whole lot - no loss. Sold a commem 1911 back to guy I got it from - no real biggie because I could not shoot it - so instead got the 220 from Gary.

Then finally, moved on my P12.45 to get a 228 - I miss the Para - tho it was not one I used a lot, but sure was nice to have. Ideal would be to never sell anything!!

I rate what I have got in trades as just fine - but always regret moving on any at all.

I'm unloading a few (pardon the pun) this year, but I intend to replace them at some point in time. That's different than having to sell it of course.

Sometimes you get a gun on the cheap, figure out you like that platform a lot, but wish you had a different model or whatever. That's where I am on a few things right now.

The Sig 229 in 357 Sig great gun conrtols all wrong for me should have kept it as range gun ..

The first firearm I bought was a surplus Mosin Nagant 1891/30. I held onto it for about two years before getting "bored". To make a long story short, I sold it to a co-worker and put the money (not much, really) towards a Kel-Tec P3AT for my wife to use.

Looking back, I wish I had kept that old thing. It was about as basic a 75 year old battle rifle as you can get, but ammo was dirt cheap, and it was a lot of fun to plink with at the range.

Of course, all I have to do is pull out the ol' .30-06 to make me feel better about the whole matter.

A common thought to this thread is "All of 'em!" and I must agree!

Well, almost. I sold a Thompson and used the money to buy a Kimber ProCDP, which is a terrific gun. And I dumped a Raven that was gathering dust. Otherwise, I regret trading/selling every other gun that I traded.

-A beautiful Sig P220 with NP3 treatment.

-A S/W 645 with Millet sights.

-A S/W 6906 with action job and spurred hammer.

-A S/W 19 2 1/2" blue also with action job.

-My very first gun, a Ruger Service Six.

DOHHHH!!!

Now I just save the moolah and buy new ones, much to the chagrin of my wife!

S&W M29 (M25?) in .45 LC.... MAN that was a great gun.

Also my dad's service revolver, 6" S&W .38, don't remember what type... gave it back to him tho, so I might get my hands on it again some day.
