Gun sales have boomed Nation wide

This kind of puts a lie to the myth that American's are anti-gun. If they we're there would not be a surge in gun sales. Obama is anti-gun and people know this. They are buying now before it's too late.

I know at least in Pennsylvania gun sales have risen 2,000% since this time last year... and it has little to do with hunting season considering most guns being sold are handguns and "assault rifles".

I talked to my FFL today and he basically said that any rifles and lowers available are over priced and most of his sources are sold out

I went to our local Sportsman's Warehouse to restock some ammo after a trip to the range and found the shelves literally stripped of supply 3 days ago. I guess this is the result of a run of panic buying after the election. Personally, I find it rather silly and imagine it could result in higher prices for us all.

Checking the shops after the election and last weekends gunshow, EBR's are drying/dried up.Gunshow dealer had the only 3 AR's left at 2 pm Saturday.

Most of the transactions I observed were women purchasing handguns, with or without significant others assistance/advice, largest shop in town was selling one handgun about every ten minutes while I was there last Tuesday.

No AR magazines anywhere. 3 saiga (sporter config) not selling because the dealer had no extra magazines.

I bought the only box of 9x18 at the show and considered myself lucky to get the dealers last case (500) of .308 Barnaul for $225. That left the dealer with 500 rounds of 5.56 and a couple boxes of Spanish .308 no 7.62x39.

Ammo is also dried up in the Stores here, barring a few boxes here and there WalMart is your only option, and the clerk locally told me they sold 8 weeks worth of normal sales in the first week after the election.

One thing struck me, many of the cars in the parking lots were proudly wearing Obama stickers. Strange because the NRA put on a huge ad campaign here spelling out Obama's history and stated plans for 'sensible gun control' and in this county McCaine beat Obama by almost 3 to 1 on election day.

Haven't quite figure THAT out yet!

    Regards,
    :)

Dont try to because there is no sense in it.

Get your ammo now, because the price is going to CHANGE...you can count on it. (It isn't going to get cheaper.) This should be..."The change we can believe in..."

I went to Bud's gun shop with a friend of mine for a little leisurely browsing this afternoon and found it packed. One of the staff, who I asked if this was early Christmas shopping, said "uh, not exactly".

I'm shopping for my first gun right now as well, but it has nothing to do with politics. Unfortunately I'm stuck among the panicking masses, so it's affecting me as well. Talk about bad timing

Know what the real kicker would be? Obama supporters making a run on guns! Lord God help me---if I ever find out the two-faced, worthless, spineless, individuals that did this.....

I went to Sheels last week-end, just went along with my brother, he was trading a varmint rig in for a 204 AR. Somehow I got caught up in the excitement and brought home 2 AR's. Nephews call 3 days latter (he works at Sheels) and told me that they raised prices on AR's from $150.00-$300.00 depending on models.

Soooo glad I bought when I did.

Now I'd love to see that. Almost too good to be true, I'd say.

That's my situation. I've been saving my extra pennies so I can buy myself an AR,an AK,and an SKS,but I'm now stuck scrounging for what I want amongst these panicking morons. They're everywhere, and they're tossing around their plastic to buy everything in sight-many of them are making comments about how much money they're gonna make "after the new AWB is passed".
