Well they probably won't be getting a large following down here anyway, so they can think what they want.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

I apologize for the inadequacies of my State legislators. Certainly we can do better than a score of 9 out of 100 on the brady bunch rating. We should strive for at least a 4.

I haven't been able to find their forum or comments section. You'd think they would want to discuss their beliefs, wouldn't you?

Did you notice that all of our bordering states are more gun friendly than Texas is!?!?!?!?

Texas has actually been quite strongly anti- cc until recently. When I first moved here you could only legally have a gun with you if you were traveling outside your own county on an overnight journey--with minor exceptions. Even elected officials, mayors, judges, DAs, could not carry. And of course, we did not and still don't have open carry.

So yes, surprisingly, we aren't nearly as handgun friendly as many other states or as handgun friendly as people who don't live here assume.

I think things will not get better, because we are getting remarkably crowded and our big cities will soon resemble the cities of the NE and Southern CA, more than the towns of the rural southwest. Our I-35 corridor is "insanely" over developed from the OK border right down to San Antonio.

I know places in SE Texas I would love for them to visit!
Not recently (that I'm aware of), but even Game Wardens have been known to "disappear" permanently and without a trace. I think the "talents" of those local citizens could be put to a much more beneficial project, given the opportunity.

    Stay safe,

Why do I use 230 gr. for my .45acp?
    Because I can't find a source of 250 gr!
