I always buy my range ammo from Walmart. Cheapest I've found yet.
When you find what you want at a good price, buy it all. Ammo is not covered under the Second Amendment, and will certainly be a target for the new administration.
Treat me good, I'll treat you better. Treat me bad, I'll treat you worse.
I've also done a lot of business with Ammoman.com. Prices are decent, and if you buy at least 5 boxes, shipping is free. For the most part, though, they sell by the case. He currently has Federal 180 gr FMJ for $189/500 rounds. That's the best deal on FMJ, and there there aren't currently any boxed 40 cal for sale. Always best to check multiple sites, but be sure to include shipping charges in your comparison.
Dick's Sporting Goods has them on special but you have to buy them by the case to get the sale price. $14.98 per box for Remingtons.

I just tried to check out "Dick's", and cannot get to an ammo page. Plenty of in line skates, tents, and such, but where's the ammo????
Dick's Sporting Goods - Every Season Starts At Dick's - Official Site. is what I used.
Thanks in advance
If you have a Dick's, Gander Mountain or a Bass Pro Shop near you check them out. You may pay a little more per box, but no shipping to pay on it.

Well, interesting story this morning. I was forced (by my wife, not really) to go to Wallyworld (unarmed because weapon is at dealer not purchased yet ) to get puppy food for our daughter's and BF's dog as well as our own critters. Just for laughs I requested a side trip to the sporting goods area to check prices on my favorite "candy" , .40 S&W ! Much to my surprise it was $4.00 cheaper than the last 100 rounds I bought, so I got some just because I needed a "fix" LOL! Now the funny part. The sales associate said he/she (not sure because it had more facial hair than me and looked a little rough for a gal) trusted me to pay up front because I looked like I could be trusted and it didn't look as though I had a gun on me. It was an accurate observation however she also said with the "new" law just passed I would not be in viloation of any laws, but I could have a gun out in my car. I forgot my "Wallyworld Bingo Card" as it was a last minute side trip but remembering a few of the squares I could have easily got three or four covered by the time I got to the door on the way in! Where we live it's a freak show everyday there. As Forest Gump says "Stupid is as stupid does!"

Socialism tries to give the slave all the advantages of his security together with the benefits of freedom, and, in the process, destroys both the free and the enslaved.
I just picked up 25K of blazer aluminum case 9mm at 7.49 per 50 from Natchez.
