Congrats. I'm thinking of joinig myself. I hear they have a great insurance policy for gun owners.

I was a member for many years when I was a deer hunter. Always found their magazine to be interesting.

joined myself about a two seeks ago. Already got a decent NRA cap and my membership card; and hit-up for a donation. Also got a free 1 year nra renewal from taurus after purchase of a 'judge'

i joined on nov 5, just got my stuff today, the "made in china" multi tool was almost embarrassing... im going back and forth in my head about putting the "NRA" sicker on my car....

Regarding the stickers, both my wife and myself have had it on our vehicles since 1983 (1984 ?) and never had a negative experience, quite the contrary, even when my wife was still active in her Interior Design business.
We lived in Los Angeles and in 1986 moved to the West Palm Beach area - lots of dem-libs in both places.
You'll hear that it is an invitation for trouble; I've never seen it documented, and like the hero say in "Ghostrider" : You cannot live in fear!
But everybody is different, ultimately you'll have to make your own decision.
The first rule of a gunfight: "Don't be there !"
The second rule: "Bring enough gun"

I've been a Life Member for about 15 or so years.
This year, I'm going to make sure that some members of my family get NRA memberships from me for Christmas.
Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME.
