Why is the camera man still filming??
Preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse or Rapture....whichever comes first.
Yeah, that could have been so much worse. It looked like it bounced up just in front of him. I wonder if the bullet went into his head or just grazed it. He did do a good job with the rifle though. Rather than throw it down, he set it down in the chair before getting up.
I bet he don't do that twice

Probably needed a new pair of under shorts as well. Whew...talk about close.

I refer to those type of incidents as "The Grim Reaper wants him REAL bad". That or a warning from Darwin.
That does look like a dirt bank, or maybe shale. Maintained as well. Probably got a 1 in a million ding on a piece of steel that got buried.

It gave me a headache.....
You have to make the shot when fire is smoking, people are screaming, dogs are barking, kids are crying and sirens are coming.

Firearm Safety Rule #8 "Never shoot at a rock or a hard flat surface (water)"
I would use that vid in my safety class but the guy said the "F" word. That was close.

A very lucky guy!
"Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in a grey twilight that knows not victory nor defeat."
Wow, what a lucky guy! That is about all I can say.
This has been posted before. For some reason I seem to remember that it really is a hoax. I think these guys have other videos out there with firearm mishaps.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

+1 on that, my SGM and me both looked at this and threw the BS flag.
I think they also did a video with a VERY skinny girl firing a 50 cal Desert Eagle. In the clip she supposedly fire the weapon and the recoil smacks the weapon back in her face. BUT there's no flash or smoke from the muzzle.
"Without fear there can be no Courage!"
I think that was proven to be faked.
The same guys faked similar other close calls
A real man loves his wife, and places his family as the most important thing in life. Nothing has brought me more peace and content in life than simply being a good husband and father.
I was hit once in the chest by a .44 magnum ricochet. I was shooting bowling pins and I see something tumbling in an arch coming back at me, then WHACK! Right in the chest. It scared the crap out of me more than it hurt. I guess in almost 40 years of shooting it had to happen at least once.

Here's another ricochet video. This guy was shooting a .50cal rifle at a metal target.
