I have used my N frame speedloader pouches Euc but - major downside is the loaded clips sit too deep and so access and removal is very fiddly.

I expect custom holders would do well - and in fact with steel clips, holding the rounds as well as they do - you can actually carry by having one round in a sorta cartridge loop.

Pockets are OK sometimes. Others who actually need those for carry can answer better I expect.

From brownells this one is what people carry usually as the nice big plastic center keeps the rounds from rattling

Well I was referring to how it would be obvious at a mere glance that it was ammunition in the carrier.

True enough... I just like things in solid sided container. Same reason I don't like slide holsters.

    One word: sweet.

My FFL informed me that he sees a lot of guns every day, naturally, but very seldom is he tempted to keep one.

That speaks volumes to me, he is a diehard lover of the Ruger revolver.

What's funny is he calls me "The Kid" despite the fact I'm probably only 5 years younger than most of his customers.

"Why does a kid like you want a big old fashioned revolver when there's a million plastic nine millimeters to be had at a third of the price?"

Anyway I got it in... flippin' awesome. Still need to clean it.

In the process of getting extra moonclips, holster, etc. for it.

Im thinking I'm gonna have to start loading some 45 auto rim rounds so i can stop shooting all my 45acp rounds for the autos

Actually Bud I've just decided to keep all my .45 ACP ammo the same. Besides I got the moon clips and I want to learn if I like them or not.

As much as I like the classic gold bead I may have to try a Hi Viz sight.
