The best model from each major gun mfg.

I would like to have a collection of one or two of the best models of guns from each gun maker.
For example, for Springfield I have a M1A, and a EMP.
I will shoot these guns around my farm, or at the range. I don't care if its a shotgun, handgun, or rifle. Mainly just want the gun the company would consider it's best firearm.
I just want currant new, or almost new guns. Here is a short list of many of the brands I don't own yet.
Remington, Winchester, Glock, S&W, Colt, Walther, FN, Kel Tech, Beretta.
I know I'm missing many brands, open for all suggestions.

    Thanks
    Sig P250 9mm
    Ed Brown 1911 Kobra 45ACP
    Ruger Mark III 22
    Browning Silver 12ga
    Browning BAR 30-06

Better yet, are you looking for possible next of kin?

You're talking some big bucks then.

I'll vote for the Glock 19 to be one among the many! Best of the lineup IMO.

    Beretta: Model 92
Colt: 1911 (series 70) or Colt Python
    Glock: Model 19
    Remington: 870 Wingmaster
    Ruger: GP100 or Super Blackhawk
    Smith & Wesson: Model 686
    Winchester: Model 1894

There are others, but I'm getting distracted just thinking of those. You'd have a collection that would make any gun owner envious.

No one has yet to meniton "the best there is" Browning. Of course the list for Browning is long since all of their stuff in my experience is darn good. Citori, Superposed, Hi-power, A-5, A-Bolt, BLR, BAR. I guess you'd have to get one of each class of gun from Browning.

Ruger's best is probably the Gold-label, but they make many other good one's too.
This is just too tough of a question to answer.
