Yes, I realize that me collecting so many firearms may seem obsessive to you but, I feel that I have a sworn duty and obligation to legally buy up as many of them as I can...and keep them securely locked up so that they can never end up in the hands of criminals out on the street.

Find out if the "anti" is obsessive about, say, his free speech rights ("Why do you need to express opinions on so many subjects?"), or the freedom of the press ("Why do you need so many liberal newspapers?"), or separation of church and state, or access to abortion, or protection against cruel and unusual punishment, and protection from causeless search and seizure, or...
I think you can see how this conversation can go if you want to win debating points. If you have any other goal in mind, you might as well just walk away and do something better with your time.

My dad has 3 player pianos, 200 music boxes, 500 or so banks and recently got rid of about 500 nautical items. yet he thinks my 15 or so guns are obsessive. Sheesh.......

I know who I am and what I enjoy...I shouldn't have to explain myself what so ever and let them have thier own opinions..
You are obsessive! Much like 99% of the people who bother reading or posting on sites like this. Anyone with a hobby can be considered obsessive.
