I loved that movie...."Red Dragon" was a pi@@ poor attempt at recreating that great movie....only to further showcase the Lecter character (and falling flat IMHO).

Ditto +1. Manhunter was almost surrealistic and you could almost breathe the madness that affected to one degree or another all characters. Red Dragon was, at best, cartoonish.
You have to make the shot when fire is smoking, people are screaming, dogs are barking, kids are crying and sirens are coming.
Ego will kill you. Leave it at home.
I disagree. Silence of the Lambs had Lechter right, buried in a dungeon hole, not playing phone tricks in an unused Miami Vice set.
so after reading this post yesterday i ran down to the local block buster.

Tombstone (I'm your Huckleberry.)
Saving Private Ryan (The opening scene on Omaha Beach still blows me away.)
Desperado (Yes, the one with Antonio Banderas)
Black Hawk Down (Great AR vs. AK movie)
Red Dawn (Who wouldn't want to defend the U.S. from the Communists?)
Navy SEALS (Yes it is CHEESE but I like it)
U.S. Marshalls (Get rid of that nickle plated sissy pistol and get yourself a Glock.)
Die Hard (Bruce Willis + guns = great action and some of the best one liners!)
Why Ike, whatever do you mean? Maybe poker's just not your game Ike. I know! Let's have a spelling contest!
I'll sell you MY copy. $5 + postage. It's NEW only been viewed TWICE. Both times I hated the film.Originally Posted by ssssthesnake
