Clean Glock
I shot my G23 for the first time Sunday. I noticed how clean it was after shooting it. My 1911 and revolvers get a lot more gun powder residue on them than my Glock. I was shooting WWB and it is not considered a clean ammo and that is the same thing that I shoot most of the time in my other guns.
I was very impressed how clean it was after shooting, I see now why you can go so long without cleaning them.
Has anyone else noticed this?

Don't worry. I think Glocks like getting dirty anyways.

Not worring about getting it dirty, just noticed that it didn't get nearly as dirty as my other guns.

I was just kidding around. That's good news. I'm picking up a G29SF soon and hope my experience is similar.

I guess comparatively, the Glocks won't get as dirty as some other pistols or using other ammo. I actually seem to think that the 40S&W caliber is cleaner shooting than others. Not sure as to why, but that's my experience compared to 9mm and 45acp. Less carbon/powder build up. Glock on!

Yeah, I've noticed that in my G23 as well. It doesn't get as dirty - maybe only 25% as much dirty than the others. Not only visually - but when I take the cleaning kit out as well.

Every pistol I own doesn't require me to clean them after lots of practice, and the function perfect.

+1 to that, but substitute G22 for G23.
